FreeGoTV Privacy Policy

What we collect

We only collect what you type into one of our three forms, plus the minimum technical data needed to keep those forms working.

• Contact details you provide: name and email address.
• Request details: your country, the countries or content you are interested in, your device, your preferred player, plan duration and number of connections, line type, an existing username if you are renewing, your adult-content preference, and any message you write.
• Technical data: an irreversible hash of your IP address, used for spam and abuse protection.

Why we collect it

To answer your message, prepare or renew your subscription, provide setup support, and protect the forms from automated abuse. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not build behavioural profiles.

Legal basis

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on performance of a contract (or steps taken at your request before entering one) to handle your subscription and trial requests, and on our legitimate interest in running a secure, functional website for spam protection and security logging.

Who can see it

Your submission is delivered to our internal team inbox and stored in our own database. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

We rely on a small number of service providers to run the site: our hosting provider, our database provider, Google's SMTP service for delivering email, and Tawk.to for live chat. Each processes data only to provide that service. Tawk.to loads only when the chat widget initialises; see their own privacy policy for the data it handles.

Cookies

FreeGoTV sets no advertising or analytics cookies. We store your light or dark theme choice in your browser so the site looks the way you left it. The live chat widget may set its own cookies to keep a conversation open between visits.

How long we keep it

Request records are kept while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for support and accounting continuity. Contact messages are kept until they are resolved and archived. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.

Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to restrict or object to how we use it. Write to freegotv.com@gmail.com and we will respond within one month. If you are in the EEA or the UK you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, credentials are held in server-side environment variables only, IP addresses are stored hashed rather than in the clear, and access to the request database is restricted to the team that fulfils orders. No system is perfect, but we take these basics seriously.

Children

FreeGoTV is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
